The obsession with female breasts has been with us for a long time: even in the days of the earlyRoman Empire. Unlike in the case of animals where they are used mainly to suckle young ones, the female breasts in human beings are considered to be sexual organs. They are one of the most sensitive parts in the female body due to the concentration of nerves especially at the nipple area, and this association with sex makes them to be one of the most treasured parts by the opposite sex.
People in the medieval ages used to be very conservative and insisted that the female members of society should cover most of their bodies so as to preserve purity of society and as a show of morality on their part.
